Yesterday was a high job satisfaction day. A forever-home purchase that was a long time in the making. I first met @prasaritayoga and her partner Henry over 8 years ago, on their first tentative property viewings in Asturias. The seeds were being sown back then but time was needed for gestation. A lot of life happened in the meantime (two children and one Brexit for starters!), and a lot of planning and working towards their dream life. Yesterday they completed the purchase of their dream home and a key part of the puzzle finally slotted into place. Here's to many years of happiness for them all!

The absolute best part of this job is seeing happy clients getting the keys to a home they love. Today's completion was even more exciting than usual as the buyers had never visited the property in person before signing on the dotted line this morning! This is something we would generally advise against but sometimes circumstances dictate a different approach. And when you know, you know...
Pleased to report that both the property and the location exceeded their expectations! Phew!

A day in the life of an estate agent in Asturias...winter version. I left home at 08:00 in the morning in torrential, aqua-planing kind of rain. Two meetings (indoors and over coffee - phew!) In Oviedo and then two viewings in San Martin del Rey Aurelio, where the rain petered out and the views started to emerge from the mists. Onwards to Villaviciosa and by now my morning choice of clothing was too hot as the sun had fully pushed through. Final property visit of the day took me to the beach at Playa Vega, Ribadesella. Then back to the mountains of central Asturias for more phone consultations and to witness the first winter snows rapidly receding to the highest reaches. Hard to believe these photos were all taken in one day, right?! #asturias #winterinAsturias #propertyinAsturias #northernSpain
